The cottage is located on the outskirts of the small town of Aizenay, in the Vendee region of France. There are a vast number of different activities and places of interest within a short drive from the cottage. St, Gilles is the nearest resort, just 25 minutes away with its excellent beaches, and Les Sables D'Olonne is only 35 minutes away with its many harbour side restaurants and stunning golden panaoramic beach. The cottage itself has a large patio with plenty of garden furniture and a barbecue should you just wish to relax at home and enjoy the local produce and wine from Aizenay's excellent shops and supermarket (Hyper U). Should you wish to be more active, there are bicycles for all the family (the tarmac cycle track is just down the lane at the back of the house), and the large garden is adequate for football or boule etc.

The cottage has two bedrooms - the main bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has three single beds. The lounge has a sofa bed; a dining corner and a TV/DVD/Video player + dvds and videos for all ages, and in the sideboard there are numerous games to play. The kitchen is very well equipped with a gas oven and hobs; dishwasher; fridge/freezer; washing machine and microwave oven. All crockery and utensils are provided and there is a small dining area in the kitchen or outside on the front terrace. You will need to bring your own bed linen and towels.
